It's not as simple as adding the two voltages to get the right output. I don't have any data for the Z32 MAF, but the Q45 MAF is a reasonable example. ![](http://moksha.homelinux.org/gallery2/d/24379-1/image.png)
So, if you double the outputs at 1.5V (where airflow is ~17G/s), you present the ECU with a value of 3.0V (where the airflow is ~125G/s). You need a better functional map of the MAF before that approaches a working model.
